is a writer and editor. A native of New Orleans, she lived and worked for many years in New York City and in New Orleans.
She is the author of sixteen books on Christian spiritual life, and has edited and contributed to many others. She is married to William Griffin, an author, editor, and translator.
The Griffins are also playwrights who studied with Edward Albee at the Circle in the Square Theatre in New York City. They live in Alexandria, Louisiana, where they are active in writing and theatre.
